Darcy Zajac
Darcy Zajac (born September 23, 1986) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing with the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League while under contract to the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.
Prior to turning professional, Zajac attended the University of North Dakota where he played NCAA Division 1 hockey with the North Dakota Fighting Sioux.
On July 7, 2013, he signed a two-year, two-way contract with the New Jersey Devils, the first NHL contract of his career.
==Personal life==
Zajac's father played hockey for three years at the University of Denver. Darcy's three brothers, Travis, Kelly, and Nolan all play ice hockey as well. He plays alongside Kelly in Albany (AHL), while Travis is a stalwart of parent club, the New Jersey Devils. Nolan, the only defenseman among the brothers, plays for the Denver Pioneers.
